A single review site, a single YouTuber or a pile of launch-week Amazon reviews can all be wrong on their own, so the Detail Pro Rating asks four independent sources about the same product and combines what they say.
The weighting
Amazon carries the most weight because it has the most data behind it. A hands-on video review is next, because someone actually used the product.

Plenty of models have no credible video review or no owner discussion yet. Rather than guessing, we drop that source and reweight the remaining ones. Each product page lists exactly which sources fed its score and which ones we could not find, so you can see how much evidence sits behind the number.
Ratings, prices and sources are refreshed weekly, and Detail Pro Ratings are recalculated with them. A product that starts strong and then collects failure reports will slide down the ranking on its own.
Each product page carries the most-watched independent hands-on review of that exact product. We do not pay for or commission any video, and the channel behind it has no say in the score beyond the opinion in the review itself.
